Five interesting numbers from Matchweek 15 of the Agleague
Following the conclusion of matchweek 15 of the Arabian Gulf League, Sharjah further cemented their position at the top of the table, extending the gap with second-placed Al Ain to five points, while Dibba remained at rock bottom on four points

The most significant numbers from matchweek 15:
1- Al Ain’s 3-0 loss to Al Dhafra marked the Boss’ third defeat in the season, after losing to Al Jazira in matchweek 6 and to Sharjah in matchweek 8. They lost 2-1 in these two encounters.
2- Bani Yas collected their fourth win in a row after defeating Al Wasl 2-1. The Sky Blues earned 12 points in their past four games, which equals their record in their first 11 league games this season.
3- Dibba succumbed to their seventh consecutive defeat after losing to Al Wahda 3-1. This marked the Sailors’ 13th loss this season, as they won only one game and drew another.
4- After playing out a 2-2 away draw with Shabab Al Ahli, Ajman have now collected 12 points away from home (three wins, three draws and a defeat). Meanwhile, they’ve only earned eight points from their home games (two wins, two draws, four defeats).
5- A total of 22 goals were scored in matchweek 15 with an average of 3.14 goals per match. Seven goals out of the 22 were scored after the 75th minute.
