Your vote counts in new AGL Monthly Awards
The Pro League Committee has announced the launch of three monthly awards for stars of the Arabian Gulf League, for the first time in the competition’s history.
The awards will cover three categories; Player of the Month, Goalkeeper of the Month and Coach of the Month and will be judged on performances in the Arabian Gulf League only.
Three nominees for each category will be presented based on statistics provided by sports data company “Sportradar” and the PLC will offer fans the opportunity to vote for their preferred nominees through the website http://motm.agleague.ae
The nominees will be announced through the PLC’s social media accounts following the end of the last matchweek of every month and the winners will be decided based on the popular vote which will continue for 48 hours.
The first edition of the award kicks-off with the announcement of the September nominees on Monday, October 1, 2018 at midnight and the vote continues for 48 hours until the end of Wednesday October 3.
After the conclusion of the votes, the winners will be announced and will receive the award ahead of kick-off of their respective teams fixtures in the matchweek following the announcement of the results.
