PLC steps up preparations for Arabian Gulf Super Cup
The Pro League Committee has stepped up its preparations for the Arabian Gulf Super Cup match that pits Al Ain against Al Wahda at Al Salam Stadium in the Egyptian capital Cairo on the 25th of August.
The PLC work team has continued its coordination meetings with all stakeholders to ensure preparations for the match are up to speed in order to deliver an event befitting the occasion of the 2018-19 season curtain raiser.
The technical meeting for the match will take place at 11:00 on Thursday, 16th of August at the PLC's offices in Abu Dhabi with the presence of representatives of Al Ain and Al Wahda. During the meeting, details of the match will be agreed, including training pitches preparations and other items related to the match.
On a related note, the PLC continued its extensive communications with the event organiser and sponsor "Presentation", to on the touch on the latest updates related to the organisation of the match. The company confirmed preparations for the event are complete and presented an invitation for football fans in both the UAE and Egypt to follow the Abu Dhabi Clasico from the heart of the Egyptian capital.
