The National Team concluded on Saturday morning its training on Zenit’s Club training fields in its current camp in the Russian city of Saint Petersburg in preparation for the match against Egypt on Monday in the last round of the 2018 World Cup group stage.

The training session started with warm-up exercises, followed by recreational and acquisition exercises. Coach Juan Antonio Pizzi then divided the players into two groups on a short pitch distance and conducted specific passes. The players were then divided on half of the pitch, and the session ended with stretching exercises.

Omar Hawsawi, Mansoor Al-Harbi and Ali Al Bulaihi did not participate in the group exercises but conducted special exercises at the gym and Taysir Al-Jassim continued his treatment program at the clinic.

The National Team will hold a training session on Sunday evening at 5:30 pm at the Volgograd Arena.

Coach Juan Antonio Pizzi will hold a press conference on Sunday at 5:00 pm at the Press Conference Hall at the Volgograd Arena with striker Fahad Al-Muwallad to talk about the third match against Egypt.
