Kuwait soar in latest FIFA Ranking
Kuala Lumpur: Kuwait were the Continent's biggest movers, climbing 16 spots to 160, in the latest FIFA World Ranking released on Thursday.
The Kuwaitis' improvement was thanks to their 2-0 friendly victory over Palestine, while the top four remained unchanged - with the Islamic Republic of Iran (36th) staying as Asia's top-ranked.
Australia (40th) occupy second with third-placed Japan (60th) followed closely by Korea Republic (61st) in fourth place.
Saudi Arabia climbed three places to 67 - meaning Asia's five FIFA World Cup Russia 2018-bound teams round up the Continent's top five.
