They are looking for a positive spot to help propel the team into the higher ranks. On Friday, Al Dhafra welcome Al Nasr to Hamdan bin Zayed Stadium at 17:05 in an important match for both teams as they both occupy places in the middle of the table. Al Nasr, in fifth place, are ahead of Al Dhafra on the table by a single point. Al Nasr were at the receiving end of a surprising defeat to Ajman at their home stadium in the previous round, meanwhile Al Dhafra drew with fellow mid-table side Dibba. Rashid Stadium in Dubai hosts the big game between Shabab Al Ahli and Al Wahda at 19:45 as both teams battle for the top spot. Al Wahda had defeated Hatta in the previous week to move up to second place with 12 points, meanwhile Shabab Al Ahli dropped points to Sharjah with a goalless draw away from home, to reach their tenth point of the season and sit in fourth place. The winner of this game is likely to be in top spot come the end of the matchweek. Saturday sees Ajman and Emirates play in an important game in the battle to escape the relegation zone. The 17:05 kick-off at Rashid bin Saeed Stadium sees hosts Ajman attempt continue their good performances after they finally earned their first points of the season when they defeated Al Nasr 1-0 thanks to Azizbek Haydarov's strike. On the other hand, Emirates lost to Al Ain and are stuck on four points, therefore their game against Ajman will be important in restarting their season in good shape. The final game of the matchweek sees bottom side Sharjah, travel to Al Ain, the leaders. for the 19:55 kick-off at Hazza bin Zayed Stadium.
