AFC Champions League 2017 Quarter-finals - 1st leg: Al Ain 0-0 Al Hilal
Al Ain: Al Ain were held to a 0-0 draw by Al Hilal in an entertaining AFC Champions League quarter final first leg at the Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium on Monday night.
In an open and free-flowing match, the two teams created plenty of chances throughout and in the first half both managed to put the ball into the back of the net as Al Hilal striker Omar Khribin was denied by an offside flag, while Douglas suffered the same fate soon after.
It was the home side who came closest to scoring after the resumption, with Omar Abdulrahman’s free-kick forcing a fine save from Al Hilal goalkeeper Abdullah Al Mayouf on the hour mark.
