PLC Continues Super Cup Preparations & Coordinates with Al Jazira and Al Wahda
The Pro League Committee has increased its level of preparation for the Arabian Gulf Super Cup between Arabian Gulf League champions Al Jazira and the 2016/17 President's Cup winners Al Wahda. The past few days witnessed intensified efforts inside the PLC's offices as the committee prepared for the big events set to take place in the Egyptian capital Cairo on the 15th of September.
The PLC held a coordinative meeting on Sunday afternoon chaired by Mr. Waleed Al Hosani, Acting CEO of the PLC and attended by representatives of both clubs in addition to the PLC's work team. The meeting discussed preparations for the match, taking place in 30June Stadium. The committee was briefed on the organisational plans for the fixture and the dates for the teams' arrival to Cairo and return to Abu Dhabi were agreed. The PLC also previewed the accommodation plans for both teams including hotels and training facilities.
Meanwhile, the various PLC working teams enrolled in continuous meetings in preparation for the big event and coordinate with all stakeholders to deliver a successful event in the footsteps of last season's successful Super Cup between Al Ahli and Al Jazira which drew large crowds.
