The Pro League Committee is organising the 2017-18 pre-season workshop between 24-26 of August. The workshop sheds the light on a number of key areas such as amendments to various competitions' regulations. Participants will also be presented with case studies from international stadiums over the past few years to provide a model to follow in organising Emirati competitions. Global best practices will also be showcased with participation from a group of UEFA international experts. The workshop will be attended by club representatives, match officials and other partners.
The PLC had conducted two workshops on the accreditation and registration system at the UAEFA headquarters on Tuesday 8th of August as part of its preparations for the 2017-18 season. The first workshop was dedicated to media institutions while the second one was for pro clubs' representatives. The workshop aimed to offer personnel involved in match organising, including clubs, media, partners and other users of the new electronic accreditation cards system, education about the registration mechanism and the steps needed to obtain accreditation cards according to the specified regulations.
On a related note, Work team from the various PLC department continues its inspection visits to pro clubs which have started on August 6th and continue until the 17th of the month. The work team will inspect readiness of stadiums and associated service facilities according to the required standards.
