Al Arabi coach Kais Yaâkoubi has wasted little time in the transfer market, with the club confirming that two professional players have arrived in Doha with the view of signing for the Dream team. Both Syrian attacker Mardik Mardikian and Brazilian playmaker Diego Jardel have jetted into Qatar with the view of agreeing personal terms and joining Arabi.
Mardikian had previously agreed a three year deal with the side and arrived in Doha ahead of the sides first preseason traning session which is set to take place on the 10th of May. The Syrian attacker is no stranger to Qatari football having previously played for Al Markhiya.
Whilst Diego Jardel is set to conclude personal terms with the club before penning a contract with The Dream team. The 27 year old attacking midfielder previously played for Avaí in Brazil. Arabi management will be hoping both players can make a significant impact for the side, who managed a disappointing ninth place finish in the QSL last season.
