June 28 Sweden international striker Marcus Berg has joined Al Ain of the United Arab Emirates from Pananthinaikos. The 30-year-old, who has signed a two-year deal, is now set to play alongside Omar Abdulrahman, Yousef Ahmed and Tsukasa Shiotani - another recent signing - when the Emirati side face Saudi Arabia's Al Hilal in the first leg of the 2017 AFC Champions League quarter-finals on August 21.

Syria international Omar Khribin has signed a four-year deal with Saudi Arabia giants and AFC Champions League quarter-finalists Al Hilal. Khribin joins from Al Dhafra after being on loan at Al Hilal since the start of the year.
