The Pro League Committee holds technical meeting for the Arabian Gulf Cup Final
The Pro League Committee held the technical meeting for the Arabian Gulf Cup final at Al Nasr's Al Maktoum Stadium on Monday morning. The meeting was chaired by Waleed Al Hosani, Acting CEO of the PLC and attended by the PLC's working team, representatives of the local police, ambulance, private security company, refereeing department representative and representatives of the hosts, Al Nasr Club in addition to officials from the two teams contesting the final; Al Ahli and Al Shabab.
During the meeting, it was decided that Al Ahli will wear a red and black striped kit while Al Ahli will play in full green.
The pre-match press conference is scheduled for Thursday, 30th of March at noon at Al Maktoum Stadium. Al Ahli head coach and one starting player will hold the first press conference from 12:00 to 12:25 while Al Shabab will follow from 12:30 to 12:55.
The match security plan was presented in the meeting, detailing fans seating plan, car parking and entrance gates. Al Ahli fans will be seated to the left of the main stand while Al Shabab fans will take seats to the right of the main stand. For the second tier stands, gates 5 and 6 will be dedicated for Al Ahli fans while gates 2 and 3 will be used by Al Shabab fans. Gates will be opened two hours before kick-off.
