Egypt’s giants set to clash in Abu Dhabi
Abu Dhabi/ Tuesday January 31, 2017: The organizing committee of the Egyptian Super Cup met at the Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium, the venue of the match featuring Al Ahli and Zamalek set to be held on February10.
The meeting was attended by Ayed Mabkhout, Al Jazira CEO and chairman of the committee, Suhail Al Arifi, deputy chairman of the committee besides the members Ahmed Mohammed, Adel Saeed, Salem Ali, Ahmed Abdulla, Salem Khalifa, Major Ebrahim Al Manaie, Eftikhar Bakhsh and Mohammed Kamel, chairman of Prestige Sport Company and a number of officials, police representatives and others.
The meeting has discussed the general outlines of the security plan which will be implemented right from the arrival of the two teams into Abu Dhabi and until they depart.
Furthermore, the meeting has discussed the marketing and media affairs regarding the match and the accompanied events. It has been agreed to commit to the highest levels of quality as applied to the Arabian Gulf League.
The technical meeting and pre-match news conference will be held on February 9, and the two teams workout later in the evening.
