PLC sets dates for postponed Al Ain fixtures and Arabian Gulf Cup Final
The Pro League Committee has set the dates for Al Ain's postponed fixtures against Hatta and Al Jazira, which were put on hold due to their participation in the 2016 AFC Champions League Final. The Arabian Gulf League Round 7 fixture between Hatta and Al Ain will now be played at 7:30pm on Tuesday 10th January 2017, with the U21 League fixture between the two sides to be played the following day at 5pm, whilst the Round 8 match between Al Ain and Al Jazira has been scheduled for Monday 23rd January 2017, also kicking off at 7:30pm, followed the next day by the corresponding U21 League fixture at 5:15pm.
The PLC has also decided the date of the 2016/17 Arabian Gulf Cup Semi-Finals, with both matches scheduled for Monday 9th January 2017, though kick-off times and stadia will depend on the teams qualifying from the group stage. The Arabian Gulf Cup Final has been set for Saturday 1st April 2017. The Pro League Committee will announce the fixtures for the second half of the Arabian Gulf League season after the AFC's draw for the 2017 AFC Champions League, which will take place in December.
